Humedics announced on the 9th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with BaroPharm on the 8th at its headquarters in Pangyo, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, to distribute and sell the high-performance cosmetic product “Elavie Re2O ECM Cosmetics” (hereinafter “Re2O ECM”) through pharmacies.

This agreement was initiated to combine Humedics’ differentiated high-performance cosmetic manufacturing technology with BaroPharm’s nationwide pharmacy distribution platform. Starting with this agreement, the two companies plan to establish a mutual cooperation system to expand Re2O ECM’s presence in pharmacies nationwide and broaden its distribution network, while also conducting comprehensive joint marketing campaigns.

Re2O ECM is a newly launched high-performance derma-cosmetic brand that integrates Humedix’s specialized aesthetic expertise and proprietary raw material technology. The products contain 10,000 ppm of the core ingredient (ECMiracle), which utilizes Humedix’s proprietary formulation technology, to help manage skin elasticity. In particular, as products specialized for post-Re2O treatment care, they have proven their efficacy through completed human application tests on post-treatment use, demonstrating improvements in △skin barrier function, △skin density, △nasolabial folds, and △skin elasticity and texture.

The Re2O ECM line, consisting of ampoules, cream, and BB cream, has recently received high praise at international trade shows for its differentiated efficacy and smooth texture. The company expects the line to demonstrate significant competitiveness in the domestic pharmacy market based on its proven functionality.

Through its partnership with BaroPharm, Humedics aims to significantly enhance accessibility, making it easier for consumers to find high-performance derma-cosmetics at pharmacies. This is expected to not only boost brand awareness but also generate new revenue, serving as a driving force for the company’s sustainable growth.

Another positive factor is the growing demand for pharmacy-exclusive cosmetics among foreign tourists, who are increasingly interested in post-procedure care and improving skin elasticity. The company anticipates that its nationwide expansion into pharmacies will also yield a natural global promotional effect.

A Humedics representative stated, “Through our collaboration with Baropharm, Korea’s leading pharmacy platform, we can effectively showcase the superior product quality of ‘EllaVie Lituo ECM Cosmetics’ to pharmacists and consumers,” adding, “We will maximize the synergy between the two companies to rapidly expand our presence in the pharmacy cosmetics market.”

Meanwhile, the three-step Lituo ECM product line for skin recovery (Active Ampoule, Booster Cream, and Skin Fit BB) will officially launch on the BaroPharm platform on the 22nd. To commemorate the launch, various promotional events will be held on the BaroPharm platform.
