[Edaily Reporter Kim Hyun-ah] #SK Telecom is launching a large-scale customer appreciation program combining fine dining, performances, and cultural experiences for long-term customers who have used its services for over 10 years.
SK Telecom announced on the 11th that it is expanding and revamping its “T Long-Term Customer Program” and will host “T Long-Term Customer Day,” inviting a total of about 10,000 people, including long-term customers and their companions, through the end of the year.
A key feature of this program is its shift away from traditional benefits centered on discounts or points toward experiential content that allows customers to actively participate and enjoy.
Starting with the “Forest Getaway Day” held at Everland last May, SK Telecom plans to host various customer invitation events through the end of the year.
The flagship program, “Table Day,” is a gourmet event held at major hotels nationwide. A total of 1,200 long-term customers and their guests will be invited across five cities: Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, and Daejeon.
Notably, at the event at Vista Walkerhill Seoul, Chefs Choi Hyun-seok and Kim Hee-eun will participate to showcase menus specially developed for this occasion. Premium buffets will also be offered at Signiel Busan, the Marriott Hotel Daegu, Holiday Inn Gwangju, and Hotel Onoma Daejeon.
In addition, the event will feature “Concert Day,” which invites guests to singer Lee Seung-chul’s KBS Chuseok special performance; “Adventure Day,” held at Lotte World Adventure with exclusive late-night access; and “Musical Day,” a group viewing of the musical “Chicago.”
Applications for “Table Day” can be submitted through the “T Long-term Customers” menu in the T Membership app or via QR codes at T World stores nationwide until the 30th. Winners will be notified individually on July 8.
SK Telecom is also expanding data benefits for long-term customers.
Starting July 1, the eligibility for the “Subscription Anniversary Data” benefit—which provides additional data on the anniversary of subscription—will be expanded from customers who have been subscribed for five years or more to those who have been subscribed for two years or more. The company also plans to increase benefits for long-term subscribers by removing the 30GB cap on data provision.
The “Refill Coupon,” which allows customers to top up an amount equal to their plan’s base data allowance, will now be provided earlier than before—specifically in the month of subscription.
Yoon Jae-woong, Head of the Product & Brand Division at SK Telecom, stated, “We are expanding our experiential programs to provide special joys and memories in everyday life to customers who have been with SK Telecom for a long time,” adding, “We will continue to enhance long-term customer satisfaction through differentiated customer experiences.”
