The delegation consisted of 30 medical professionals from public and private hospitals in Jilin Province, China, who visited Korea to examine the country’s medical technologies and medical device industry in the fields of aesthetics and plastic surgery.
#Humedics, Huons Meditech, and Huons Biopharma participated in the event, introducing their respective core businesses and product portfolios.
The program began with an overview of Huons Group’s global business operations, followed by a tour of the headquarters, presentations on medical device products, and a sharing of hospital management case studies. The delegation examined medical aesthetics and medical device products and received briefings on the current state of Korea’s medical industry.
China is considered one of the key countries in the global medical aesthetics market. Korean companies are also expanding their presence in the local market, focusing on fillers, botulinum toxin, and aesthetic medical devices, while medical professional training and academic exchanges are also being utilized as key marketing activities.
Humedics is expanding its business in the Chinese market primarily through its hyaluronic acid (HA) filler brand, “Ellavie.” Huons Meditech offers the “Dermashine,” a device for the precise injection of topical medications, along with a range of aesthetic medical devices, while Huons Biopharma is pursuing overseas market expansion centered on its botulinum toxin business.
Through this event, the Huons Group plans to expand exchanges with Chinese medical professionals and explore future collaboration opportunities. A Huons Group official stated, “Based on the technological expertise and business capabilities accumulated in the fields of medical aesthetics, medical devices, and biotechnology, the Huons Group is expanding its global market strategy,” adding, “We hope this visit will serve as an opportunity to strengthen exchanges with Chinese medical professionals and discover new opportunities for collaboration.”
