Huons Group Hosts Visit by Medical Professionals from China’s Jilin Province... Promoting Unparalleled ‘K-Medical Aesthetics’ Technology

30 Doctors from Chinese Public and Private Hospitals Invited in Connection with the ‘Korea-China KAT Workshop’ In-Depth Look at the Competitive Strength of Humedics, Huons Meditech, and Huons Biopharma

[Edaily Reporter Yoo Jin-hee] Huons Group is leveraging its unrivaled technological expertise, honed in the global aesthetic market, to elevate the status of K-Beauty and establish a close network with Chinese medical professionals.

Huons Group announced on the 11th that a delegation of medical experts from Jilin Province, China, visited the group’s headquarters for a meeting as part of the “Korea-China KAT (K-Beauty Advanced Skill Training) Workshop for Invited Jilin Province Medical Professionals,” organized by the Seongnam Industrial Promotion Agency.

The visiting delegation consisted of a total of 30 members, including doctors from public and private hospitals in Jilin Province, China, who came to Korea to receive training in advanced cosmetic and plastic surgery techniques and to tour leading medical device companies.

Huons Group introduced its core businesses and proprietary technological competitiveness, focusing on the three companies—#Humedics, #HuonsMeditech, and #HuonsBioPharma—in the aesthetics and biotech sectors, which were selected as key exemplary companies during the workshop.

The event began with a briefing on Huons Group’s global business status, followed by a tour of the headquarters, an introduction to major medical device product lines and technological capabilities, and a hospital operations benchmarking program. The Chinese medical professionals examined the products on display firsthand and experienced Korea’s advanced medical aesthetics infrastructure.

During this meeting, the group’s portfolio—which is already yielding tangible results in the Chinese market—received significant attention. Humedics entered the Chinese market in 2015 after becoming the second Korean company to obtain product approval for hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers in China. Since then, led by its flagship HA filler brand “Elavie,” the company has built strong trust with Chinese medical professionals and continues to expand its market presence.

Huons Meditech, a company specializing in aesthetic and therapeutic medical equipment, offers the “Dermashine,” a skin drug delivery device that has surpassed cumulative sales of 10,000 units in the Chinese market. Recently, the company obtained a Chinese marketing authorization for its “Premium 9-Pin Needle,” further expanding its global aesthetic footprint.

Huons Biopharma is accelerating its overseas expansion, focusing on its botulinum toxin business. Having recently obtained final product approval in China, the company has laid the groundwork for full-scale local operations.

Over the past decade, Huons Group has leveraged its accumulated business experience and local network in the Chinese medical aesthetics market to strengthen cooperative relationships with Chinese medical professionals. The company expects this visit to go beyond a simple corporate tour; it aims to demonstrate the group’s integrated competitiveness across medical aesthetics, medical devices, and biotechnology, and to serve as a stepping stone for exploring future business opportunities.

A Huons Group official stated, “We are strengthening our global market strategy based on the unrivaled technological capabilities we have accumulated in the medical aesthetics, medical devices, and biotechnology sectors,” adding, “We hope this workshop will serve as an important opportunity to further deepen exchanges with Chinese medical professionals and discover new opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.”
