Nongshim Launches Power O2 Mango Flavor Targeting the Summer Beverage Market

Sales begin on the 15th Application of SportsCap Containers

[Edaily Reporter Shin Su-jeong] Nongshim is set to target the summer beverage market with a new oxygen-infused drink featuring mango flavor.

#Nongshim announced on the 12th that it will launch "Power O2 Mango Flavor" on the 15th. Power O2 is a beverage brand that combines Alpine water with concentrated oxygen. Nongshim plans to expand consumer choice by adding tropical fruit flavors to its existing product lineup.

This new product reflects the recent trend in the food industry toward an increasing number of mango-based products. According to Nongshim, mango imports have more than doubled over the past decade, reaching 32,706 tons last year.

The bottle features a sports cap, similar to existing Power O2 products. The sports cap minimizes oxygen loss after opening and prevents the contents from spilling easily even when the bottle is upside down, making it convenient to carry during exercise or outdoor activities.

A Nongshim representative stated, “This product enhances our competitiveness by adding the popular mango flavor to Power O2,” adding, “We plan to actively target the sports drink market during the peak summer season with this new product.”
