Lameditech’s ‘HandyRay Glue’ Receives Rave Reviews at Seoul Health Show... 95% of Testers Say They Are “Satisfied with Needle-Free Blood Collection”
Over 300 citizens participated... Praise poured in for pain relief and ease of use
Meets International Accuracy Standards... Full-Scale Domestic Distribution to Pharmacies and Clinics Begins
[Edaily Reporter Yoo Jin-hee] The next-generation laser blood glucose meter unveiled by laser healthcare specialist #Lameditech has received positive reviews from actual users, gaining momentum for its expansion into the domestic market.
Lameditech announced on the 12th that it held a public trial event for its laser-based blood glucose meter, the “HandyRay-Glu,” at the “2026 Seoul Health Show” held at Seoul Plaza for three days from the 9th to the 11th, and confirmed high satisfaction among participants.

Approximately 300 citizens visited the event, held at the Korea Diabetes Association booth, to experience the HandyRay-Glu firsthand. According to an in-house satisfaction survey, over 95% of participants reported that the device was significantly less painful and more convenient to use compared to traditional lancet-based blood sampling methods, highly praising the product’s innovation.
The HandyRay Glue is a product that embodies Lameditech’s world-class ultra-compact laser technology. It features an “All-in-One” system that integrates both laser-based blood sampling and blood glucose measurement functions into a single device.
It dramatically reduces the pain, calluses, risk of infection, and psychological burden associated with frequent needle pricks that have long plagued diabetes patients, making daily blood glucose management much easier.
Notably, this event attracted not only diabetes patients but also a large number of general citizens and young people with a high interest in blood glucose monitoring, reflecting the recent trend of “early care syndrome” (the tendency to manage health proactively). This demonstrated the intense interest in laser blood sampling technology.
HandyRay Glue offers not only convenience but also the precision expected of a medical device. In a recent clinical trial conducted at Korea University Ansan Hospital, it fully met the international blood glucose measurement accuracy standard “ISO 15197:2013” and recorded a high accuracy rate of 97.8%. These research results were published in the prestigious international journal “Diagnostics,” securing global recognition for the technology’s reliability.
A representative from Lameditech stated, “We are currently ramping up domestic supply through specialized medical device distribution networks, as well as pharmacies, clinics, and channels specializing in diabetes management,” adding, “We will proceed smoothly with obtaining overseas approvals, including European CE certification, to drive sales growth in the global market as well.”
