[Edaily Reporter Shin Su-jeong] #Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 15th that it will launch a program to provide regular bottled water deliveries to national meritorious citizens in collaboration with the Seoul Regional Office of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs.

From this month through October, Lotte Chilsung Beverage will deliver 12 1.0-liter PET bottles of “iSis” to the homes of 1,620 national meritorious persons once a month for five months. The initiative aims to express gratitude to those who have dedicated themselves to the nation and to provide practical support for their daily lives.

Lotte Chilsung Beverage has been carrying out this bottled water support program for national meritorious citizens since 2020. Through seven rounds of support up to this year, the company has provided bottled water to approximately 12,000 people.

The company also provided support for visitors to the National Seoul Cemetery on Memorial Day. On June 6, to mark the 71st Memorial Day, Lotte Chilsung Beverage donated 5,000 500ml Aisys PET bottles for visitors to the National Seoul Cemetery.

The donated bottled water was distributed to visitors through a volunteer service organized by the Seoul Branch of the Association of Families of Fallen Soldiers and Police Officers, a veterans’ organization under the jurisdiction of the Seoul Regional Veterans Affairs Office.

A representative from Lotte Chilsung Beverage stated, “We organized this bottled water support project and Memorial Day donation to honor the noble spirit of sacrifice of our martyrs and national heroes and to express our gratitude to those who have served the nation,” adding, “We will continue to strive to help honor those who have served the nation and promote a culture of gratitude toward veterans.”
