[Edaily Reporter Lee Hye-ra] The trend of hair loss treatment-related stocks, which had been on a steady rise following news that health insurance coverage for hair loss treatments would be reviewed in the second half of the year, is now mixed.
According to MP Doctor on the 16th, #TSTrillion was trading at 1,474 won as of 9:06 a.m. that day, up 23.80% from the previous trading day.
This follows remarks by Minister of Health and Welfare Jeong Eun-kyung at a policy briefing last week, where she stated, “We determined that public opinion needed to be gathered regarding the application of national health insurance to hair loss treatments, and a survey of 1,000 people conducted by the National Health Insurance Service yielded positive results.” She added, “We plan to review the implementation of this policy, taking into account opinions from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s ‘Public Forum’ scheduled for next month.”
TS Trillion, along with other stocks classified as related stocks—such as #Innojin, #Hyundai Pharmaceutical, and #Withus Pharmaceutical—closed in positive territory yesterday.
However, trading trends varied by stock today, resulting in sharp volatility.
While TS Trillion has surged through today, marking its fourth consecutive trading day of gains, Innojin and Withus Pharmaceutical remain in negative territory. Hyundai Pharmaceutical soared as much as 6% but is currently trading with a fluctuation of around 1%.
