Key officials from both sides, including Jeong Seon-yong, Chairman of the Mutual Aid Association, and Lee Mun-hwa, President of Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, attended the event to finalize plans for future technological cooperation on digital transformation.
The core of the collaboration is the introduction of an “AI risk assessment model.” This system uses AI to independently conduct a precise analysis of risk factors based on online survey data entered by facility managers, thereby deriving customized safety measures. Based on this, the Mutual Aid Association plans to provide big data-driven AI risk analysis reports to local government officials on an ongoing basis.
Industry observers believe that, starting with this agreement, the safety management culture of local governments will evolve from a reactive approach to one centered on proactive prevention. This is because the system will not be limited to simple diagnostics; instead, AI analysis algorithms will be continuously trained using extensive risk data accumulated in the field, thereby significantly improving predictive accuracy.
Jeong Seon-yong, Chairman of the Mutual Aid Association, emphasized, “In this era of rapid AI transformation, it is essential to advance the risk management infrastructure for public property,” adding, “Through technical cooperation with Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, we will successfully establish a digital risk management system to create a stable environment for public property management.”
Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance also responded, stating, “This collaboration will serve as an opportunity to take safety administration to the next level and firmly establish a proactive prevention system,” and added, “We will do our utmost to build a new paradigm for public property safety management together with the Mutual Aid Association.”
