LG Corp. Presents Customized Solutions for AI Data Centers at 'ees Europe 2026'

Providing a Stable Power Infrastructure Amid the Growth of the Future AI Industry Emphasizing a Robust Local Production System… Responding to European Battery Regulations

[Edaily Reporter SOYEON KIM ] LG Energy Solution announced on the 22nd that it will participate in “ees Europe 2026,” a specialized exhibition for batteries and energy storage systems (ESS), to be held for three days from the 23rd to the 25th (local time) at “Messe Munich” in Munich, Germany.

LG Energy Solution will participate in this year’s exhibition under the theme “Powering the Future of AI” and plans to highlight its unique value as a provider of stable power infrastructure—a key driver of future AI industry growth. At the exhibition, the company will showcase its advanced market competitiveness, including △ customized integrated solutions for AI data centers (AIDC), △ unparalleled local production capabilities, and △ capabilities to address European battery regulations.

In particular, the company will go beyond a simple product showcase to present integrated battery solutions capable of meeting the power demands of AI data centers. It plans to introduce a differentiated product portfolio covering the entire spectrum—from Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) essential for building AI data center infrastructure to battery systems (UPS and BBU) that ensure uninterrupted and stable operation.

For grid-scale ESS systems, the company will showcase the “JF2S DC LINK 5.0,” which utilizes European-made LFP (lithium iron phosphate) cells. Equipped with the latest LFP cells (JF2S) specifically designed for ESS and produced at the company’s Wrocław plant in Poland, this product is characterized by a fully integrated local production system where the entire process—from battery manufacturing to system supply—is carried out locally in Poland.

Furthermore, the company has enhanced reliability by sourcing key electrical and electronic components from highly reputable security certification providers and ensuring compliance with the latest security regulations to counter external hacking threats that may arise at installation sites.

The company will also unveil a battery system designed to maximize the stability of data center operations. Building on the outstanding safety of LFP batteries, LG Energy Solution will showcase its next-generation JP6 UPS rack system alongside the next-generation 2170 BBU (Battery Backup Unit), optimized for high-performance servers. Through these displays, the company plans to highlight its battery solution technologies that ensure a stable power supply to data centers even during emergencies.

Through kiosks set up at the exhibition, LG Energy Solution plans to intuitively demonstrate the actual implementation status of “Battery Passport,” a system that digitizes and manages information across the entire battery lifecycle.

Recently, ensuring transparency across the entire battery lifecycle and establishing local supply chains within Europe have become increasingly important due to regulations such as the EU Battery Regulation (EUBR) and the Industrial Accelerator Act (IAA). LG Energy Solution is also highlighting these points. The company aims to proactively address the EU Battery Regulation and strengthen its market dominance through stable local production in Europe, centered in Poland.

An LG Energy Solution official stated, “This exhibition will serve as an opportunity to demonstrate LG Energy Solution’s capabilities as a key partner in AI data center power infrastructure,” adding, “Based on our robust local production capabilities in Europe and advanced regulatory compliance capabilities, we will continue to create differentiated customer value in the European market.”
