[Edaily Reporter SOYEON KIM ] Doosan Robotics will unveil its artificial intelligence (AI) palletizing solution, “PalletizHD+,” for the first time at North America’s largest automation technology and robotics exhibition. The company highlighted its robotics solutions, which are built on expertise accumulated through its robotics and software technologies.
Doosan Robotics announced on the 22nd that it will participate in “Automate 2026,” taking place in Chicago, U.S., from the 22nd to the 25th (local time), to showcase a variety of intelligent robot solutions. “PalletizHD+,” being unveiled for the first time, is a solution that integrates hardware, software, and user applications based on “PalletizOS,” an operating system dedicated to palletizing developed in-house by Doosan Robotics. It combines Doosan Robotics’ accumulated expertise in robotics and software technology with its long-standing know-how in the field of automation.
PalletizHD+’s core competitive advantage lies in its high-speed processing capability. By applying AI-based pattern generation and “Swift Move” technology—which designs optimal movement paths before each task—it can process up to 11 boxes per minute. Depending on the task configuration, it can also move multiple boxes simultaneously. This enables customers to process larger volumes in the same amount of time and shorten the payback period for their automation investment.
User convenience has also been significantly enhanced. An intuitive, unified interface—similar to a smartphone—allows users to manage box information, pallet conditions, loading patterns, and system status all at once. Simply enter box information and pallet conditions, and the AI automatically generates a loading pattern. It features a robotic arm equipped with physics-informed AI and advanced 3D vision, enabling it to perform various tasks autonomously. At this exhibition, the company will showcase solutions utilizing this technology for sanding and welding tasks, respectively.
In addition, Doosan Robotics will exhibit EOL (End-of-Line) solutions covering the entire final stage of production lines—including palletizing, box assembly, and packaging—as well as robot education kits.
Kim Min-pyo, CEO of Doosan Robotics, stated, “This exhibition showcases our lineup spanning palletizing, sanding, welding, and EOL automation, demonstrating that Doosan Robotics is expanding its business scope beyond collaborative robot manufacturing to intelligent automation across the entire production process.” He added, “We will continue to integrate AI into real-world work environments to expand our portfolio of solutions that allow customers to immediately experience enhanced productivity and efficiency.”
