Vitzro Nextech Co., LTD Secures 11.6 Billion Won Government-Funded Project

[Edaily Reporter Park Sun-Yeop ] Vitzro Nextech Co., LTD has acquired the remaining R&D tasks and related deliverables from DAWONSYS Co., LTD’s government-funded project.
#Vitzro Nextech Co., LTD announced on the 23rd that it has acquired the remaining R&D tasks and related deliverables from DAWONSYS Co., LTD(068240), which was selected as a joint R&D institution for a government-funded project overseen by the Korea Institute for Industrial Technology Planning and Evaluation (KIITPE), an agency under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
The project in question is titled “Development of Technology for Producing High-Value-Added Chemical Products from By-Product Gases of the Naphtha Cracking Process.” The specific R&D tasks involve the design, fabrication, demonstration, and operational evaluation of a plasma system for producing carbon black.
The transfer was finalized on the 22nd. The joint R&D institutions involved are the transferee, Vitzro Nextech Co., LTD, and the transferor, DAWONSYS Co., LTD.
The total research budget is 11,612.8 million won, which represents 19.7% of Vitzro Nextech Co., LTD.’s equity capital of 58,953.3 million won. Of this amount, government funding totals 7,778.8 million won, equivalent to 13.2% of equity capital.
The project will run from the 15th of this month through December 31, 2030.
