[Edaily Reporter KIM JI-WAN ] On the 23rd, G.L. Research assessed that IL SCIENCE CO.,LTD.(307180)is actively expanding its Physical AI business based on humanoid operation data collected from manufacturing sites, and set a target price of 12,000 won.

Park Chang-yoon, a researcher at GL Research, analyzed, “The core competitive advantage in the humanoid industry lies not in hardware but in the operational data accumulated in actual field settings,” adding, “IL stands out because it has established a data acquisition system by directly deploying robots in manufacturing facilities.”
According to the report, IL has deployed humanoid robots at its Cheonan Smart Factory and Hwaseong production plant, accumulating 2,389 hours of operation and 437,403 data points. The company aims to secure more than 5 million data points by the end of the year.
GL Research projected that this data will serve as the foundation for future advancements in robot control, autonomous path optimization, task execution, energy management, and fault-response algorithms. In particular, the firm assessed that data repeatedly accumulated in actual manufacturing environments could act as a barrier to entry that latecomers would find difficult to overcome in the short term.
The collaboration with AgiBot was also highlighted as a key investment point. IL has signed a VAP (Value Added Partner)—the highest-tier partnership—with AgiBot and is working to build a Korean-style humanoid platform through joint development efforts.
GL Research analyzed that IL’s humanoid business has moved beyond the proof-of-concept (PoC) stage and entered the actual supply phase. The report explains that, following the signing of a supply contract worth approximately 3 billion won for domestic industrial sites, the company has secured additional supply contracts with AI and telecommunications firms and is now entering the commercialization phase.
Furthermore, GL Research estimated that IL’s humanoid business segment will generate 10.9 billion won in revenue and 2.18 billion won in operating profit in 2026. The firm projected that profitability will gradually expand as the business combines hardware sales with operating software, maintenance, rentals, and the RaaS (Robot as a Service) model.
Researcher Park stated, “While the existing silicon lens and ITS businesses provide a stable foundation for performance, the humanoid and all-solid-state battery businesses are establishing themselves as new growth engines,” adding, “The pace of business expansion is expected to accelerate based on manufacturing site data and global partnerships.”
