[Edaily Reporter KIM SAE-MI ] Pharmicell(005690)announced on the 23rd that it has launched the “BM SOME 200” premium professional care line through its bio-derma cosmetic brand “by Pharmicell LAB.”
BM SOME 200 is a product line that incorporates “BM SOME” (Bone Marrow Stem Cell Conditioned Media Liposome), a liposome ingredient derived from human bone marrow stem cell culture medium developed by Pharmicell. The flagship products are the “BM SOME 200 Ampoule” for skin care and the “BM SOME 200 Rootive Hair Ampoule” for scalp and hair care. Both products contain 20% BM SOME.
This launch is significant as it marks Pharmicell’s expansion of its portfolio from its existing skincare-focused product line into the scalp and hair care sector.
The BM SOME 200 Rootive Hair Ampoule is an MTS (Microneedle Therapy System) ampoule used in professional scalp and hair care programs. It contains 20% BM SOME, as well as human adipose-derived stem cell culture medium, caffeine, panthenol, a peptide complex, and a quintuple hyaluronic acid blend. It was developed to moisturize and soothe the scalp, manage scalp condition, and promote a healthy environment for hair growth.
The BM SOME 200 ampoule, launched alongside it, is a professional-grade skincare ampoule designed to hydrate the skin, improve elasticity, and enhance overall skin condition.
Pharmicell plans to supply the BM SOME 200 line primarily to professional scalp care centers and aesthetic programs. The company’s strategy is to develop this into a high-value-added product line targeting the premium professional care market rather than the general consumer market.
Alongside its professional-grade products, the company plans to sequentially launch home care products such as “Rootive Hair Shampoo” and “Rootive Hair Scalp Serum.” Through this, the company aims to build a brand portfolio that integrates professional care programs with home care products.
A Pharmicell representative stated, “BM SOME 200 is a premium line that applies Pharmicell’s accumulated stem cell culture technology and research capabilities in biomaterials,” adding, “We will enhance our product competitiveness in the professional skin and scalp care market and foster our bio-based cosmetics business as a key growth driver.”
Pharmicell is expanding its cosmetics business based on its cell culture technology and expertise in developing bio-ingredients. The company plans to continue introducing skincare and haircare products incorporating BM SOME technology in the future.
