SAMKEE CORP. will proceed with prototype development and the delivery of the initial batch. Following a specification evaluation, a large-scale additional order is expected to be secured. SAMKEE CORP. is currently developing the upper-body skeletal frame for humanoid robots using its existing facilities. The company is sequentially carrying out mold manufacturing, casting analysis, post-processing reviews, and mass-production feasibility assessments. SAMKEE CORP. plans to expand its humanoid robot parts business based on the precision mold, casting, and machining technologies it has accumulated through the production of automotive engines, transmissions, and electric vehicle components. Through the development of ultra-large die-casting and compact pressure die-casting technologies, SAMKEE CORP. has secured the capability to produce the high-precision, lightweight structures required for humanoid robot parts. SAMKEE CORP. official stated, “Demand for lightweight, high-strength metal components is rapidly increasing in line with the expansion of the humanoid robot market,” adding, “We plan to fully expand our robotics business by successfully completing the development of a prototype upper-body skeletal frame and the delivery of the initial production batch.”
