[Edaily Reporter YU JIN-HEE ] Laseroptek Co., Ltd.(199550), a company specializing in lasers for skin care and the treatment of skin conditions, announced on the 24th that it participated in “IMCAS Asia 2026,” Asia’s largest academic conference on dermatology and plastic surgery held in Bangkok, Thailand, as part of its efforts to expand its influence in the global market.
Laseroptek Co., Ltd. set up a dedicated exhibition booth during the event, which ran from the 19th to the 21st, and showcased the “HELIOS 785 PICO,” a picosecond laser for pigment treatment, and the “SCULPIO,” a skin rejuvenation device.
In particular, “melaKlear”—a specialized brand for pigment treatment based on the HELIOS 785 PICO that Laseroptek Co., Ltd. recently launched—drew significant interest from local medical professionals thanks to its differentiated technology, which has secured U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for the treatment of difficult-to-treat melasma and light pigmented lesions.
On the 18th, the day before the conference opened, the company hosted “LPM (Laseroptek Co., Ltd. Partners Meeting) in Bangkok” at the Grand Centre Point Phloen Chit in Bangkok, Thailand. LPM, Laseroptek Co., Ltd.’s flagship global partner program, is an annual event held in conjunction with the conference schedule to invite Asian partners and medical professionals to share the latest clinical experiences and market trends.
The event, attended by approximately 50 dermatologists and industry professionals from Thailand and other Asian countries, featured a series of interactive clinical training sessions and lectures. Dr. Chandra Permana from Indonesia, the first speaker, shared actual clinical protocols under the theme “Melaclear Treatment Using the Helios 785 Pico.”
Next, Dr. Seo Seok-bae, Director of Seo A-song Dermatology Clinic, introduced his experience with Melaclear treatments and presented a case study on the “LOTUS III Procedure Using Skin Boosters.” Dr. Kim Ki-tae, Director of TAESUNG Plastic Surgery Clinic, captured the audience’s attention with an online lecture presenting his expertise on “Skin Rejuvenation Using Sculpio” and the treatment’s effects on improving skin condition.
In addition, Laseroptek Co., Ltd. introduced “VASCURA 589,” its new vascular laser product launched with great ambition this year, to the global market for the first time. The VASCURA 589, which utilizes solid-state laser technology at a wavelength of 589 nm, garnered significant attention as a next-generation vascular treatment solution, offering potential for expansion into various aesthetic dermatology applications in addition to treating vascular lesions such as facial flushing.
Lee Chang-jin, CEO of Laseroptek Co., Ltd., emphasized, “Through this event, we reaffirmed the Asian market’s strong interest in the Melaclear brand, which is based on the Helios 785 pico-second laser.” He added, “Since both Sculpio and our new product, VASCURA 589, have received positive feedback locally, we will continue to demonstrate their clinical value through ongoing collaboration with global medical professionals and accelerate our expansion into overseas markets.”
