The ‘AA’ rating is the highest grade awarded to companies demonstrating excellent management of ESG risks and opportunities. SKSecurities was recognized for managing key sustainable management issues through its ESG Committee—which operates under the Board of Directors—and for overseeing risk factors through its Audit Committee, Risk Management Committee, and Internal Control Committee. In this evaluation, SKSecurities was also named to the “ESG Best Companies 100,” a list compiled by SustainBest for companies with assets of 2 trillion won or more. SKSecurities applies an ESG checklist to its investment review process. It is also expanding its ESG management by enhancing its human rights management system, establishing human rights guidelines for business partners, and strengthening financial consumer protection.
