SKTelecom announced on the same day, through a disclosure of major management matters related to investment decisions, that it had decided to make a capital contribution to “SK hynix NAND Product Solutions Corp.”
This entity, established in January of this year through a joint investment by SK hynix and Solidigm totaling $10 billion, is a U.S.-based investment firm specializing in AI.
SKTelecom plans to acquire 1,198 new shares of the company for approximately 7383억 8400만원, securing a 0.9% stake. The acquisition will be made via a cash investment, and the scheduled acquisition date is June 25, 2030.
