Based on their respective technologies and capabilities, the two companies plan to jointly pursue the integrated automation of post-injection molding processes and the automation of logistics transportation. The core of this automation system is the integrated automation of post-injection processes—such as the sorting, machining, and inspection of injection-molded products—and the automation of pallet logistics transport using autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). CLOBOT Co., Ltd, a company specializing in autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and logistics automation solutions, will oversee the robot systems and establish an integrated robot control system. In particular, it supplies robot automation systems optimized for production sites based on its heterogeneous robot integration control solution (CROMS) and autonomous navigation solution (Chameleon). A-Tech Gyeongju is a company specializing in the manufacture of plastic injection-molded products, such as automotive parts. The introduction of this system is expected to further strengthen the company’s competitiveness in terms of productivity and quality. Through this agreement, the two companies plan to proceed in phases with the integrated automation of post-injection processes (alignment, machining, and inspection), AMR-based automated pallet logistics transport, and the establishment of an integrated robot control system. They also plan to strengthen cooperation in the field of robot-based manufacturing automation and actively pursue the commercialization of smart manufacturing solutions. Son Jun-bae, President of CLOBOT Co., Ltd, stated, “This agreement represents a meaningful collaboration that directly applies CLOBOT Co., Ltd’s proven automation technology to manufacturing sites,” adding, “We plan to continue expanding business opportunities in the manufacturing automation market based on our autonomous driving and integrated control technologies.”
