Nota Inc. Surpasses 17.4 Billion Won in First-Half Orders Riding the Wave of AI Optimization… Up 2x Year-Over-Year

Second-Quarter Order Intake Reaches 6.1 Billion Won… A 120% Surge Compared to the Same Period Last Year AI Optimization Platform 'Netzpresso' Drives Joint Growth in Semiconductors and DEVICES "We Will Lead the Market with Inference Optimization Technology Amid the Spread of On-Device AI"

[Edaily Reporter Yun Junghoon ] #Nota Inc., a company specializing in AI model lightweighting and optimization technologies, achieved record-breaking order intake in the first half of this year, riding the wave of the growing adoption of on-device AI.

Nota Inc. announced on the 26th that it recorded approximately 6.1 billion won in orders in the second quarter of this year, marking a 120% increase compared to the same period last year (approximately 2.8 billion won).

Following order intake of approximately 11.3 billion won in the first quarter of 2026, Nota Inc. secured an additional 6.1 billion won in the second quarter, bringing its cumulative order intake for the first half of this year to approximately 17.4 billion won. This demonstrates that the company’s overall business foundation is expanding as both its platform and solutions divisions grow together.

This achievement stems from the growing demand for optimization—specifically, the need to run AI quickly and stably in hardware environments—as the inference efficiency of AI models becomes increasingly important with the widespread adoption of physical AI and on-device AI.

Netspresso’s platform segment grew by 184% year-over-year in 2026. A key achievement was the Netspresso licensing agreement signed with Mobilint; with this addition, Nota Inc. is expanding its supply references among semiconductor and hardware partners to include Mobilint, following SamsungElectronics, FuriosaAI, and Arm.

Netzpresso is an AI optimization platform that helps streamline and optimize AI models for semiconductor and hardware environments, enabling them to run reliably even with limited computational resources. As improving AI inference efficiency has emerged as a key challenge—not only for on-device AI, such as physical AI, which the company has long been involved in, but also for data center AI—business opportunities for the Netzpresso platform, which optimizes AI models across various semiconductor environments, are expanding.

The NVA (Nota Vision Agent) solutions division also continued its growth momentum. In the second quarter of 2026, the NVA solutions division grew approximately 3.2 times compared to the same period last year. Expanding demand from real-world field applications—such as manufacturing, safety, and public safety—drove the growth of the solutions business.

NVA solutions have expanded into real-world application areas such as industrial safety in manufacturing facilities, safety management at construction and plant sites, video surveillance, urban and public safety, and transportation infrastructure. Recently, as demand for on-device AI—which aims to reduce cloud dependency and run AI directly on field devices—has grown in industrial sites and urban infrastructure, the scope of NVA’s application is also broadening.

In the urban and public safety sector, the company has also secured various reference projects, including traffic VLM video analysis and crowd density analysis. This demonstrates that NVA is broadening its business foundation as an on-device AI solution applicable not only to manufacturing and industrial safety but also to diverse physical environments such as mobility, transportation, and public safety.

The order intake results for the second quarter demonstrate that Nota Inc.’s business is expanding beyond reliance on specific products or a single industry, focusing instead on AI-optimized platforms and industry-specific, lightweight AI solutions. In the platform sector, the company is broadening its scope of collaboration across the entire semiconductor and computing ecosystem, while in the solutions sector, it is expanding its portfolio of reference projects based on demand for physical AI in areas such as industrial safety, mobility, transportation, and public safety.

Chae Myeong-su, CEO of Nota Inc., stated, “As AI spreads to various devices and industrial sites, the importance of inference optimization technology—which enables fast and stable AI execution within limited resources—is growing even more.” He added, “Our order intake results for the second quarter of this year demonstrate both the expansion of our semiconductor business centered on Netzpresso and the field applicability of our NVA-based lightweight AI solutions.”
