Accelerating the Transition from Oral Care OEM/ODM to a “Life Care Brand Company” Focused on High-Performance Products
[Edaily Reporter YU JIN-HEE ] KMPHARMACEUTICAL Co.,Ltd.(225430)has finalized the patent registration for its nanographene technology, the core ingredient of “Zerocipe,” a scalp and hair loss care brand designed to enhance functionality. KMPHARMACEUTICAL Co.,Ltd. announced on the 26th that, following the acquisition of the patent for the nanographene raw material, it has completed technical validation and solidified its exclusive position as a premium product.

KMPHARMACEUTICAL Co.,Ltd. has established a collaborative partnership with InBCT, the first company in the industry to develop 13-nanometer (nm) graphene oxide technology. Through this partnership, the company is introducing “Zerocipe,” a high-performance brand whose name signifies a “recipe” for reducing consumers’ scalp concerns to “zero.”
The ZeroCipi shampoo and tonic products currently on the market boast advanced formulas that combine functional ingredients for alleviating hair loss—such as centella and biotin—with a nanographene structure. They are receiving a positive market response by effectively preventing skin irritation while maximizing the penetration of active ingredients into the skin.
Unlike liposome technology—widely used in general functional cosmetics—which typically operates at a size of 200–300 nanometers, the key to ZeroCipi lies in its use of nano-graphene oxide, which breaks down active ingredients into ultra-fine molecules measuring just 13 nanometers and delivers them deeply and evenly to the scalp. Furthermore, thanks to the antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties inherent to the nano-graphene material itself, it directly helps eliminate dandruff-causing fungi on the scalp and alleviate itching.
KMPHARMACEUTICAL Co.,Ltd. is also stepping up its research to expand the functional capabilities of nano-graphene beyond hair loss care. Recent test evaluations conducted by an external specialized institution on a variant of nano-graphene oxide—the main ingredient in ZeroC—confirmed its potent wrinkle-reducing efficacy.
Nano-graphene is highly regarded as a next-generation cosmetic ingredient due to its balanced combination of anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antibacterial properties. In particular, it offers excellent delivery capabilities—safely transporting key functional ingredients, such as skin-brightening and wrinkle-reducing agents, to the dermis without causing toxicity to the human body—offering immense potential for future expansion.
A representative from KMPHARMACEUTICAL Co.,Ltd. explained, “With this patent registration, the powerful efficacy of the Zerocipe lineup has been technically recognized,” adding, “Based on the research data we have accumulated, we will accelerate the expansion of our next-generation functional product lineup, including the development of new anti-aging products based on nanographene.”
Meanwhile, KMPHARMACEUTICAL Co.,Ltd. is pursuing a strategic transformation from its existing structure as a company specializing in original equipment manufacturing (OEM) and original design manufacturing (ODM) focused on oral care and lifestyle beauty products to become a comprehensive life care company centered on high-performance brands. The company is concentrating its efforts on pioneering domestic and international markets and securing medium- to long-term growth momentum by strengthening ingredient-driven product competitiveness and fostering new medical beauty brands.
