[Edaily Reporter JAEMIN SONG ] LGELECTRONICS is launching a new practical training program in future-oriented industries—such as smart factories, AI transformation (AX), and digital marketing—targeted at young people preparing for employment. The company plans to cultivate talent for future industries through on-site corporate projects and job placement support.
LGELECTRONICS announced on the 29th that it has launched a new youth vocational training program, “Let’s Grow with LGELECTRONICS,” and has begun recruiting participants for its first cohort. This program was established as part of the “K-New Deal Academy” initiative promoted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
The training will be offered in three tracks: △Smart Factory, △AX, and △Digital Marketing. The Smart Factory track covers manufacturing processes, automation systems, and the use of production data, while the AX track is designed to provide hands-on experience with data-driven problem-solving and AI-powered business processes. The Digital Marketing track offers practical training in content planning, social media management, online advertising, and data analysis.
LGELECTRONICS is accepting applications for the first cohort until July 13. Any young person aged 15 to 34 who is preparing for employment is eligible to apply, and final participants will be selected through a document review and interview process.
Selected trainees will undergo 11 weeks of training starting in August at regional training centers in Daegu, Daejeon, and Busan, and will also participate in a residential training program at the LGELECTRONICS Learning Center within LG Digital Park in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. The program allows participants to experience LGELECTRONICS’ corporate culture and work practices firsthand, and the second cohort is scheduled to begin in November.
The program is completely free of charge. LGELECTRONICS plans to support participants so that their training experience translates into actual employability through hands-on projects, job preparation programs, and portfolio development assistance.
An LGELECTRONICS official stated, “We are focusing on providing project experience linked to real-world work environments so that young people can adapt to the rapidly changing industrial landscape,” adding, “We will actively support the growth of hands-on talent who will lead the industries of the future.”
