[Edaily Starin Choi Hee-jae Reporter] Yoo Jae-suk, Kim Nam-gil, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Joo Ji-hoon are set to reunite for a new spin-off series. (Photo courtesy of Ttentten) Ttentten recently unveiled the schedule for the “2026 Summer Road Series” via its official YouTube channel, previewing a rich lineup of content set to run throughout July and August. The “2026 Summer Road Series” is a summer vacation special project designed to bring refreshing laughter during the peak of the sweltering heat. Led by team captain Yoo Jae-suk, the show will feature him and various team members hitting the streets in the height of summer. According to the schedule, the series will feature “Pinggye High,” starring past Grand Prize winners of the “Pinggye High Awards” Hwang Jung-min and Lee Dong-wook, as well as the debut of new spin-off content, “Want to Eat Ramen and Come Back?” and “Punghyang Middle School.” “Punghyang Middle School” is a domestic travel series derived from “Punghyang High,” with the first episode set to be uploaded at 9:00 a.m. on August 1. In particular, attention is focused on the spin-off series “Want to Eat Ramen and Come Back?”, which brings together Yoo Jae-suk and three of South Korea’s most talkative actors. “Want to Eat Ramen?” is a series documenting a day-trip eating adventure featuring Yoo Jae-suk, Kim Nam-gil, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Joo Ji-hoon as they eat ramen on the street. Known in the entertainment industry as “over-talkers,” Kim Nam-gil, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Joo Ji-hoon previously appeared in “Pinggye High,” which gained popularity by surpassing 13 million views within about a month of its upload. Sparking from Kim Nam-gil’s offhand remark, “I’d like to try making a ramen-eating YouTube video,” “Want to Eat Some Ramen and Come Back?” is a day-trip travel series that uses ramen eating as an excuse to set out on adventures. Yoo Jae-suk and Yoon Kyung-ho set out by car, while Kim Nam-gil and Joo Ji-hoon ride motorcycles. The four of them decide on their next destination on the spot and continue their unpredictable ramen tour, catching viewers’ attention with their nonstop chatter—whether they’re on the road or eating. In this way, “Tteun Tteun” has caused a seismic shift in the web variety scene by consecutively producing hit spin-off content with diverse concepts, such as “Wind Direction High School” and “Countryside Vacation.” Given that their content has consistently dominated online communities with high view counts and opened new horizons for long-form content, all eyes are on whether “Want to Eat Ramen?” and “Wind Direction Middle School” will continue the legacy of Tteun Tteun’s spin-off series. “Want to Eat Ramen and Come Back?” will be released sequentially over two weeks, with two episodes airing at 9 a.m. on the 11th and 18th.
