E-MART Co., Ltd. announced on the 2nd that, in collaboration with LG H&H’s “Sofy” brand, it will sell two products—“Sofy Real Cotton Medium 40P” and “Sofy Real Cotton Large 36P”—for 3,950 won per pack.

The medium-size product contains 40 pads per pack, averaging 99 won per pad, while the large-size product contains 36 pads per pack, averaging 109 won per pad. This price is about one-fourth that of the standard pure cotton sanitary pads previously sold at E-MART Co., Ltd.

A company official explained, “We secured cost competitiveness through consolidated purchasing and, based on this, invested in product pricing to develop ultra-low-cost sanitary pads.”

While most low-priced sanitary pads on the market use non-woven fabric, these two new products from E-MART Co., Ltd. feature a pure cotton cover. They are also 2 cm longer than standard winged pads to enhance comfort. They have also been certified by a German dermatological research institute.

Separate from the launch of these sanitary pads, E-MART Co., Ltd. is continuing a promotion offering up to 50% off sanitary pads through the 15th. Products such as the “Sophie Safe Sleep Panty, Unbleached, Medium/Large, 8-pack,” which is normally sold for 16,900 won until the 5th, will be available for 7,000 won when paid with a promotional card.

In addition, four types of overnight pads—including the “Good Feeling 100% Organic Cotton Airy Overnight Pads (Medium/Large, 4-pack)”—are being sold for 5,000 won.
