Carelabs Co.,Ltd announced on the 1st that it has appointed Kim Ji-woong, formerly of Amazon and Toss Bank, as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at its headquarters, and Lee Won-hee, formerly of #Coupang andSamsungElectronics(005930), as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at its subsidiary #GoodDoc. The company plans to accelerate technology-driven service innovation by securing proven leadership from global and domestic conglomerates in the fields of strategy and technology.

CSO Kim is a strategy expert who has spent approximately 20 years working on business strategy and new business development at major domestic and international companies, including MBC, Amazon, SKTelecom(017670), and #Toss Bank. Drawing on his business planning capabilities and experience in formulating growth strategies accumulated across various industries, he will oversee Carelabs Co.,Ltd’s mid- to long-term growth strategies and the identification of new business opportunities. In particular, he is expected to lead the establishment of a growth foundation and business expansion for new ventures, including senior care—an area where the company has recently been focusing its efforts.
The CTO, who has taken the helm of technology at the subsidiary GoodDoc, is a technology expert who has spent approximately 18 years overseeing the development and operation of large-scale platforms and server systems at leading domestic information and communications technology (IT) companies such as Coupang, SamsungElectronics(005930), and #SamsungSDS. Going forward, he will oversee the entire technology organization to advance GoodDoc’s platform architecture, enhance service stability, and improve development productivity. In addition, he plans to focus on transforming the organizational structure itself into an “AI-native” model to expand AI-based healthcare services.
