tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama “Four Hands,” set to premiere on the 29th of next month, depicts the friendship, love, competition, and growth of young people who meet at an arts high school attended exclusively by musical prodigies. Actors Song Kang and Lee Jun-young will play the roles of pianists Kang Bi-o and Choi Jeong-yo, respectively, and are set to showcase a special friendship forged through music.
The “Four Hands” teaser video, released on the 1st, offers a glimpse into the unique bond between the two characters. The teaser captures the school life of Kang Bi-o (played by Song Kang) and Choi Jeong-yo (played by Lee Jun-young) as if it were a film reel.
While turning the pages of a sheet of music at the piano, Kang Bi-o flashes a faint smile at Choi Jeong-yo, who playfully holds a camcorder up to him. Choi Jeong-yo stands in front of the camera alongside Kang Bi-o, capturing these precious moments. In particular, the innocence of the two young people shines through in Choi Jeong-yo’s playful gesture of taking Kang Bi-o’s hand, waving it on his behalf, and saying, “Hello.”
The school life of Kang Biao and Choi Jeong-yo, who spend most of their time together, unfolds brilliantly. From sitting side by side at a single piano and playing in perfect harmony to walking home together through the darkened school grounds, their daily lives—in which they naturally stay by each other’s side—evoke a sense of nostalgia.

Meanwhile, the “Four Hands” poster, featuring Kang Bi-o and Choi Jeong-yo’s hands placed side by side on the piano keys, heightens anticipation for the melodies they will share. Beneath the caption, “In front of the keyboard, our breathless, perfect harmony,” the image of their fingertips pressing the keys foreshadows the deep connection and fantastic duet that Kang Bi-o and Choi Jeong-yo will create through music.
In this way, through its teaser and posters, “Four Hands” is drawing attention by previewing the story of Kang Bi-o and Choi Jeong-yo, who are drawn to each other as if by fate through the common bond of the piano. Curiosity is mounting about what kind of resonance the melody of friendship—written together by Kang Bi-o and Choi Jeong-yo during those days when their hearts connected without words—will convey.
“Four Hands” is a collaboration between Director Park Hyun-seok, who has demonstrated his sophisticated directing skills across diverse genres in works such as “Carelessly Fondly,” “Secret Forest 2,” and “Hometown,” and writer Shin Yi-won, who delicately portrayed the psychology and collective dynamics of human relationships in “The Green Mothers’ Club.” The series premieres next month on the 29th at 9:10 p.m.
