Young K (Photo courtesy of JYP Entertainment)According to his agency, JYP Entertainment, on the 6th, Young K will release his second full-length solo album, “YOUNGEST,” on the 27th. All tracks from the album will be released at 6 p.m. on the day of release via various online music platforms. Young K debuted in the music industry in 2015 as a member of DAY6. Serving as the group’s vocalist, bassist, and rapper, Young K has been pursuing a career as a solo singer-songwriter alongside his group activities since 2021. “YOUNGEST” is Young K’s new solo album, released approximately 2 years and 10 months after his first full-length album, “Letters with Notes,” in September 2023. At midnight that day, his agency posted a teaser image announcing Young K’s solo comeback on DAY6’s official social media channels. The teaser image shows part of Young K’s face reflected in shards of broken glass. Young K recently served as a mentor on the ENA music project “The Scout,” which recently concluded. His group, DAY6, held the finale concert of their 10th-anniversary tour at the K-Sport Dome in Songpa-gu, Seoul, over three days from the 3rd to the 5th.
