Universal Pictures announced on the 6th that director Christopher Nolan’s visit to Korea has been confirmed. Director Christopher Nolan will meet with Korean fans alongside actors Matt Damon and Charlize Theron.
This visit holds special significance as it marks the first time world-renowned director Christopher Nolan—whom Korean movie fans have been eagerly awaiting—has visited South Korea.
With films such as *Interstellar*, *Dunkirk*, *Tenet*, and *Oppenheimer* attracting over 36 million viewers in Korea alone—earning the country the nickname “Nolan’s Land”—Korean fans’ love for Christopher Nolan is truly exceptional.

Director Christopher Nolan responded to the love of his Korean fans with a handwritten letter. In the letter, he expressed his excitement, saying, “I am grateful for the love and support Korean fans have shown my films over the years,” and added, “It is especially meaningful to visit Seoul for *Odyssey*, and I am truly delighted to meet Korean audiences in person to present this film.”
According to sources, this visit to Korea was made possible by Director Nolan’s active request, as he had previously attempted to visit Korea several times but was unable to do so.
