[Edaily Starin Choi Hee-jae Reporter] Jang Woo-young of the band 2PM shared an update showing he has lost a significant amount of weight.

The group 2PM appeared on the SBS show “Wait, Seriously!” which aired on the 6th.
On the show, Nickhun shared an update on his recent life. He had previously drawn attention for gaining weight. Nickhun said, “I didn’t have many schedules at the beginning of the year, so I went home to visit my family. I ate a lot of delicious food, so I gained weight,” adding, “After watching the broadcast, I realized I really am getting older.”
He continued, “I was really shocked,” and surprised everyone by revealing, “I recently had a concert in Japan, and for three days, I ate only three eggs.”
Boom remarked, “It seems Jun-K has taken the best care of himself here.” In response, Jun-K drew attention by explaining, “I’ve been eating just one meal a day for three years. I started doing this because I wondered, ‘Why do our fans love us this much?’ Then, I had a sudden realization and began thinking about what we must uphold as idols.”

Boom then asked Jang Woo-young, who is currently active on various shows, “Woo-young, have you had any scratches recently?” Tak Jae-hoon added, “I heard people have been saying you look like you’re missing some weight lately.”
Jang Woo-young replied, “Even the wardrobe staff go beyond just being worried—they’re saying I look gaunt,” adding, “Usually, when I’m promoting, my weight fluctuates between 67 and 68 kg, but right now I’m at 62 kg. It’s practically a disaster.”
Tak Jae-hoon also remarked, “You’re starting to look like Yoo Jae-suk without his glasses,” and Boom joked, “As you lose weight, your mouth seems to stick out more. That’s probably why people are bringing up Jae-suk hyung.”
