(Photo:Kim Ji-woo reporter) THE NATURE HOLDINGS CO., LTD held a press conference on the 7th at its headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and announced that it had signed a master distribution agreement with Brompton’s headquarters. The contract period runs from this coming September through December 2031. Under this agreement, THE NATURE HOLDINGS CO., LTD will be responsible for the import, distribution, and sale of Brompton bicycles, parts, and accessories in South Korea. The company plans to pursue an integrated brand strategy encompassing bicycles, apparel, accessories, and community engagement, in conjunction with its existing “Brompton London” licensed apparel brand.
Cooperation between the two companies has expanded in stages over time. Following the signing of a Brompton London apparel licensing agreement in 2022, THE NATURE HOLDINGS CO., LTD signed a direct supply agreement for Brompton bicycles in 2024. Sales of Brompton London have also shown steady growth. Since sales began in July 2023, Brompton London’s sales growth rate reached 332% in 2024 and 92% last year.
Brompton’s headquarters also views the Korean market as having significant growth potential. Will Butler-Adams, CEO of Brompton, who attended the press conference that day, said, “According to a survey, 90% of respondents said they knew how to ride a bicycle, but only 5% actually said they rode one,” adding, “Given the nature of Seoul as a city, where travel for both work and leisure is frequent, South Korea is a market with great potential.”
THE NATURE HOLDINGS CO., LTD plans to focus on expanding Brompton’s offline presence. Currently, the company operates hybrid stores—featuring both bicycles and apparel—at locations such as the Shinsegae Co.,Ltd Centum City branch in Busan, the Lotte Premium Outlet in Uiwang, and Starfield Hanam.
Park Young-jun, CEO of THE NATURE HOLDINGS CO., LTD, said, “Brompton is a brand where customers test ride and experience the product before making a purchase,” adding, “We plan to expand our experiential offline stores.” He continued, “We will operate 10 to 15 key stores centered around regional hubs and increase the total number of stores to around 50 to 60.”
Online sales will be centered on the company’s own online store, though the company also plans to pursue listings on the Fashion Platform Co.,Ltd. Musinsa and Musinsa Global. The strategy is to build a sales network focused on channels that can maintain the brand’s value.

The company plans to sequentially launch the entry-level C-Line, the lightweight performance P-Line, the top-tier T-Line featuring titanium frames, and the G-Line designed for gravel riding. Prices range from the 3 million won range for the C-Line to the 10 million won range for the T-Line.
The company also plans to expand its apparel business. It intends to segment the existing Brompton London apparel line into categories such as Heritage, Urban Outdoor, and Active, aiming to broaden its customer base beyond cyclists to include those who experience the brand in their daily lives.
THE NATURE HOLDINGS CO., LTD has set a goal of achieving over 70 billion won in Brompton business revenue by 2030. This figure combines revenue from both the bicycle and apparel businesses. Within this total, bicycle sales are projected to account for the mid-30% range of the overall revenue. Considering that Brompton London’s sales last year were around 8.6 billion won, the company plans to expand its growth by integrating its bicycle, accessories, and after-sales service (A/S) businesses.
Brompton has previously supplied products to the domestic market through Sanbada Sports. Annual sales of Brompton bicycles in Korea are reported to be between 3,000 and 4,000 units. THE NATURE HOLDINGS CO., LTD aims to increase annual sales to over 6,000 units following the signing of the exclusive distribution agreement.
Yoo Seung-yoon, Executive Director of THE NATURE HOLDINGS CO., LTD, said, “We plan to expand our bicycle sales base through our existing flagship stores and dealer network, and to integrate apparel and accessory sales via our official online store and company-owned stores.” He added, “We will also gradually establish an official parts distribution and after-sales service system.”
