[E-Daily Reporter Hyera Lee ] GCT Research ( Anapass, Inc.(123860)) announced on the 8th that it has decided to extend the maturity date for the 9.9 billion won in collateral provided for a loan taken out by Hana Bank by GCT Research, a sub-subsidiary of its affiliate “GCT Semiconductor Holding, Inc.” The amount of the collateral pledged represents 13.13% of the company’s equity, and the collateral period runs from the 14th of this month through July 14 of next year. The collateral consists of time deposits. The company stated that, to secure the security interest, it entered into a separate agreement to receive intellectual property rights held by GCT Semiconductor, Inc.—the intermediate holding company of GCT Research—as collateral.
