[Edaily Reporter KIM YOON-JEONG ] ASICLAND Co.,Ltd is surging by more than 20% in early trading. This is believed to be driven by analyst reports suggesting that the company’s collaboration with SK hynix on next-generation enterprise solid-state drives (eSSDs) will move beyond the development phase and into mass production, which has boosted investor sentiment. According to MP Doctor on the 9th, as of 9:14 a.m. that day, ASICLAND Co.,Ltd(445090)was trading at 20,950 won, up 3,650 won (21.10%) from the previous trading day. On the same day, Hana Securities assessed that ASICLAND Co.,Ltd has secured a foundation for long-term growth based on its eSSD collaboration with SK hynix. Kwon Tae-woo, an analyst at Hana Securities, stated, “The key is a contract structure that goes beyond development and leads to mass production,” adding, “This contract marks the starting point of a long-term partnership involving recurring orders, rather than a one-time development project.” Previously, on the 29th of last month, ASICLAND Co.,Ltd announced that it had signed a contract with SK hynix to support the design and tape-out (the stage of delivering final design data to the foundry) of next-generation eSSD controllers. The contract is worth 31.9 billion won, equivalent to 43.7% of its 2025 revenue, and runs through the end of 2027. Analyst Kwon assessed, “Following mass production for FADU INC. in 2027, the growth trajectory will steepen further with the addition of full-scale mass production for SK hynix in 2028,” adding, “Given that the revenue potential from this single project for SK hynix alone is estimated at over hundreds of billions of won, the direction is already set.”
