Its cumulative audience count stands at 107,257. “The Eye,” starring Shin Min-a, drew 38,125 viewers that day. With a cumulative total exceeding 1,019,447, it has surpassed the 1 million viewer mark. Third place went to Disney·Pixar’s “Toy Story 5.” “Toy Story 5” drew 24,629 viewers, bringing its cumulative total to 2,341,803. In fourth place was “The Swarm,” which drew 1,242 viewers. Fifth place went to “Wild Thing,” which was seen by 3,642 viewers. In terms of advance ticket sales, “Hope”—set to open in five days—topped the charts. With 240,777 tickets sold in advance, anticipation for the film is high. “Hope” is the first feature film in 10 years from director Na Hong-jin, known for “The Chaser” and “The Yellow Sea,” following “The Wailing.” The film stars Hwang Jung-min, Jo In-sung, Jung Ho-yeon, Taylor Russell, Cameron Britton, Alicia Vikander, and Michael Fassbender.
