The event will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the 16th in the seminar room on the 6th floor of the Samkyung Education Center and is intended for representatives of allocated companies.
This seminar was organized to provide market participants with practical information and support their ability to respond effectively, amid increasing price volatility in the domestic Emissions Trading System (K-ETS) ahead of the 4th planning period and scheduled institutional changes, such as the introduction of the Korean Market Stabilization Mechanism (K-MSR).
Recently, the carbon market has expanded beyond environmental regulations to become a management issue linked to corporate cost management, supply chain responses, and overseas business strategies. As changes in emissions allowance prices and supply-demand dynamics, discussions on carbon credit quality, and shifts in global systems such as the EU ETS continue, corporate interest in analyzing carbon market information and developing response strategies is also growing.
During the seminar, ECOEYE CO., LTD. will share market information accumulated through “Carbon-i,” the comprehensive carbon market information platform it has operated since 2015, as well as its experience analyzing domestic and international carbon markets. Comprising a total of six sessions, the seminar will cover topics including: △Analysis of the 2026 emissions allowance market and price outlook for 2030; △Introduction to and role of the market maker system; △Key issues in emissions allowance verification and practical responses; △Changes and prospects for the K-ETS as viewed through the European carbon market; and △Current status and key issues in the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM).
