[E-Daily Reporter JAEMIN SONG ] SamsungElectronics is expanding its musical content offerings through "Samsung TV Plus," its ad-supported free streaming service (FAST). The production will be available to watch for free every Sunday at 7 p.m. through August 16. This service was designed to increase accessibility to live performances and minimize differences in the viewing experience caused by seat location or viewing environment.
The first title, “Maybe Happy Ending,” is set in an apartment complex for helperbots on the outskirts of Seoul Metropolitan Area and follows the story of “Oliver” and “Claire,” two old-fashioned robots, as they meet and learn about love. The musical recently won six Tony Awards, including Best Musical, earning recognition for its artistic merit.
SamsungElectronics plans to release a new flagship musical production every month. On August 15, Korea’s Liberation Day, it will present “Hero,” which chronicles the life of independence activist Ahn Jung-geun, and starting September 27 during the Chuseok holiday, it will debut “Crash Landing on You,” based on the popular TV drama.

Multi-Cam provides multiple simultaneous perspectives of the stage, allowing viewers to choose their preferred view, while Eclipsa Audio uses spatial audio technology to deliver a three-dimensional experience that captures not only the actors’ dialogue and vocals but also the immersive atmosphere of the performance venue.
Lee Gwi-ho, Executive Vice President of SamsungElectronics’ Visual Display Business Division, said, “Through Samsung TV Plus, we’ve brought the excitement of the theater into the living room, putting the audience in control of their viewing experience,” adding, “Please look forward to the new viewing culture Samsung is pioneering.”
