The company explained that the material possesses the lightweight properties, resilience, vibration absorption performance, compression stability under repeated cycling, and durability required for Physical AI robots, which are exposed to repetitive operation as well as shock and vibration environments. The development process incorporated ultra-lightweight design technologies and mass production know-how accumulated in the mobile IT materials sector, such as smartphones. With this mass production supply as a stepping stone, ICH Co., Ltd. plans to expand its business—currently centered on mobile IT materials—into the field of high-performance materials for robots and AI hardware. The company also intends to develop material solutions applicable to various physical AI and industrial robot platforms and secure new clients. A company official stated, “This confirmation of mass production supply demonstrates that mobile IT material technology can be extended to the AI hardware sector,” adding, “We expect related revenue to be gradually reflected in our financial results starting in the third quarter of this year, and we will continue to target the next-generation robotics materials market.”
