The video is designed to draw attention to the choreography, utilizing costumes that highlight Yeonjun’s movements, restrained camera work, and lighting tailored to the song’s atmosphere. Rather than complex formation changes, it focuses on showcasing Yeonjun’s expressions, body language, and stage presence.
Yeonjun was directly involved in the creation of this choreography. Key highlights include movements depicting scooping or melting ice cream, as well as hand gestures that complement the lyrics “brain freeze.” The choreography intuitively conveys the song’s title and lyrics while featuring a structure that is easy to follow.
The “Ice Cream” music video is also performing well on international charts. The video ranked 59th on YouTube’s Daily Global Trending Music Videos chart as of the 10th. It also entered the trending music video charts in 19 countries and regions worldwide.
Yeon Jun appeared on KBS2’s “Music Bank” on the 10th and MBC’s “Show! Music Core” on the 11th to debut the stage for his new song. Combining the song’s refreshing vibe with relaxed facial expressions and energetic choreography, he delivered a performance perfectly suited for the summer stage.
He is also continuing his activities in variety-style online content. Yeonjun recently appeared on “Mo-Mok TV” on Sooksook, where he engaged in a mukbang showdown with comedian Yang Se-chan. On model Jang Yoon-ju’s YouTube channel “Yoonju’r,” he chatted with Jang Yoon-ju, showing a side of himself different from his stage persona.
Album sales have also surpassed his personal record. According to Hanteo Chart, “No Labels: Part 02” sold over 660,000 copies on the day of its release, surpassing the first-week sales of his previous album in just one day. This marks the highest first-day sales among albums released this year by a Korean solo artist.
