◇Recruiting Participants for MICE Career Personal Training (PT) Program
The Korea Tourism Organization’s Tourism Job Center is launching a “Personal Training” (PT) program for those seeking employment in the MICE sector. In addition to exploring MICE-related job roles through company briefings and special lectures, this support program offers services such as resume writing, interview preparation consulting, and job matching to facilitate employment. Forty participants will be selected via online interviews (on the 11th) from among those who apply by the 7th of next month. ◇Hosting the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) General Assembly
The Korea Tourism Organization, Incheon Tourism Organization, the Korean Society of Surveying and Geodesy, the National Geographic Information Institute, and the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute have secured the bid to host the 26th General Assembly of the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS). Founded in 1910, ISPRS is the world’s most prestigious academic organization in the fields of surveying, geodesy, and remote sensing. This marks the first time the General Assembly—held every four years and often referred to as the “Olympics of the spatial information field”—will be held in Korea. The General Assembly, scheduled to take place at Songdo Convensia in Incheon in July 2030, is expected to attract approximately 3,000 participants from 50 countries, including 2,500 international attendees.

◇ Pre-registration Opens for Korea MICE Expo
“Korea MICE Expo 2026” (KME 2026) is now accepting online pre-registration applications for attendees. Organized by the Korea MICE Association, the event will take place over three days from November 17 to 19 at COEX Magok in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. It will bring together approximately 5,000 participants, including representatives from domestic and international governments and cities; specialized facilities such as convention centers and hotels; service providers in registration, protocol, transportation, and interpretation; MICE tech companies; and related academic and industry associations.
