[E-Daily Reporter Hyera Lee ] #Simplatform Co., Ltd., a company specializing in industrial AX, announced on the 16th that it has been awarded the “Proof of Concept (PoC) for an Automated Analysis System Utilizing AI in Research” project by the Korea Institute of Fusion Energy (KFE).

Through this project, Simplatform Co., Ltd. plans to validate an environment that enables the efficient utilization of fusion research data accumulated at KSTAR using artificial intelligence (AI), and to verify the technical feasibility of a platform for integrated research data utilization and an AI-based research automation system. This will support improvements in research data management and analysis efficiency as well as research productivity, and lay the groundwork for subsequent projects.
The company was selected as a partner in the “K-Moonshot Promotion Strategy” for the future energy sector by the Ministry of Science and ICT. It has built up its AI capabilities in the fusion field through participation in the AI Virtual Fusion Reactor Subcommittee under the 5th Basic Plan for the Promotion of Fusion Energy Development and by carrying out the AI+S&T Innovation Technology Development Project in collaboration with the Korea Institute of Fusion Energy.
Simplatform Co., Ltd. plans to use this project as an opportunity to expand its industrial AI and data platform technologies into the national research and development (R&D) sector. By establishing an AI-based research data utilization system, the company aims to strengthen research competitiveness and contribute to the creation of an AI ecosystem in the future energy sector.
