Member Min-young was directly involved in writing the lyrics and producing the track. Their agency, GLG, described the song as “a blend of refreshing tropical synth sounds, intense mumbahton rhythms, and the members’ crisp vocals.” B.B. Girls is a group formed in 2023 by members of Brave Girls—who gained popularity with songs like “Rollin’” and “We Ride”—after they left their former agency, Brave Entertainment, to start anew. They have been active under GLG since December 2024. The audio and music video for “Body Wave” will be released at 6 p.m. today on various online music platforms.
