Their broad musical spectrum, spanning hip-hop, dance, R&B, and ballads, also stood out. The group BOYNEXTDOOR (Seongho, Liu, Myung Jae-hyun, Taesan, Lee Han, Unhak) demonstrated their true worth as the next-generation “live-performance idols” through their Seoul concert, which kicked off their first world tour.

◇Bringing the Growth Narrative from Their First Full-Length Album to Life on Stage
BOY NEXT DOOR held the third concert of their first world tour, “KNOCK ON Vol. 2,” at the KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, at 5:00 p.m. on the 19th.
Boy Next Door, who debuted in May 2023, conducted their first Asian tour, “KNOCK ON Vol.1,” from December 2024 through July of last year, visiting 13 cities across 7 countries. This time, it’s a world tour. Expanding their reach beyond Asia to include the United States, Canada, and Mexico, they plan to meet their fans, known as “ONEDOOR,” in 24 cities across 11 countries.
K-Sport Dome is the venue where they held the encore performances of their first Asian tour. Returning to this venue after a year, Boy Next Door showcased their popularity by drawing a total of 31,800 spectators over three days, from the 17th through today.
In the meantime, having wrapped up promotions for their first full-length album “HOME” following their debut, Boy Next Door showcased their even more refined skills during this concert. The six members drew admiration throughout the performance with their overflowing talent and versatile stage presence.

“HOME” is their first full-length album and the first album on which all members are credited for writing and composing the songs. They showcased their deepened musical capabilities on stage by including a large number of tracks from their debut album in the concert setlist, such as “06070,” “Please Remember Me,” “Upside Down,” “Knock Knock,” and “ADIOS!”
The performances of “06070,” which recounts anecdotes from their trainee days, and “Please Remember Me,” a heartfelt song dedicated to their parents, left a particularly lasting impression. As Boy Next Door sang “Please Remember Me” with heartfelt emotion, fans watched the performance in hushed silence; when the song ended, the venue was filled with thunderous applause rather than cheers. This was an unusual sight rarely seen at idol concerts. The applause seemed to reflect the fans’ desire to comfort the members for their past struggles and celebrate their growth.
◇Enhanced Immersion Through Live Band Collaboration and Diverse Staging
Just as moving as the performances themselves, the stage production and staging were equally impressive. A massive four-story LED tower erected at the center of the main stage transformed to match the mood of each song—shifting between a movie set, a makeup room, an airport, a shipping container, and a glamorous party venue—adding to the visual enjoyment. The extension stage consisted of a two-tier turntable lift, and six LED lifts were installed along the walkway connecting the main stage and the extension stage to create a sense of depth.
Throughout the show, Boy Next Door performed all songs live with a band and used transition music between tracks to maintain a seamless flow. The members also ramped up the energy with a “Mega Crew” performance featuring a large dance troupe.

The concert centered on the narrative of their growth—from the time spent in underground practice rooms dreaming of their debut to finally taking the stage. This naturally aligned with the theme of their first album, *Home*, which captures the emotions and thoughts they experienced before and after their debut.
Fans sang along in unison throughout the concert, creating a passionate connection with Boy Next Door. During certain performances, such as “I Feel Good” and “Earth, Wind & Fire,” everyone stood up and energetically waved their light sticks while enjoying the show. The sight of the energetic members and fans radiating equal enthusiasm truly brought to life the saying, “Like artist, like fans.”
Boy Next Door performed for about three hours. The setlist included tracks from their first album, *Home*, as well as their debut song “One and Only,” “What’s Up,” “So Let’s Go See the Stars,” “I LOVE YOU (Just for Today),” “Call Me,” “Nice Guy,” and “Hollywood Action,” among other representative tracks, offering a comprehensive overview of their musical journey since their debut.

◇“It’s our mission to create a special day for our fans”
At the end of the concert, Boy Next Door expressed their gratitude to the fans who joined them for the Seoul show, the starting point of their first world tour.
Taesan said, “I’m grateful that we were able to create such wonderful memories before heading overseas for our world tour. Thanks to you, I feel I can approach the tour with a positive mindset.” Seongho added, “We prepared for this concert while thinking hard about how we could show you our best side. I hope you’ll continue to come see Boy Next Door’s concerts for a long time to come.”
Leader Myung Jae-hyun confessed, “I actually cried quite a bit while discussing the concert feedback with the members,” and pledged, “We couldn’t exist without you. We’ll do our best to remain artists who continue to be loved.” Lee Han remarked, “I love performing so much that I’d want to just eat and do concerts every day,” adding, “These moments when I can laugh and talk with our fans are the happiest for me. I promise to do my best so we can continue putting on performances like this in the future.”
Riu stated, “Ever since we were trainees, we’ve often said, ‘Let’s become the kind of idols people want to come see perform,’ and we put a lot of effort into preparing for this concert as well,” adding, “I was happy to be able to perform in front of ‘One Door.’” Woonhak said, “I got choked up when I saw the audience filled with light sticks while singing ‘Call Me,’” adding, “Our mission is to create a special day for everyone who comes to see our show. I’d be truly proud if you all felt that way today. Let’s all do our best in our own lives and meet again in Seoul.”
Boy Next Door will continue the tour’s momentum in Busan. They will hold their “Nak On Volume.2” concert for three days, from the 31st of this month through the 2nd of next month, at the Busan Sajik Indoor Gymnasium. This marks the first time Boy Next Door has held a solo concert in Busan. The full tour schedule will run through January of next year.
