In this report, Yogiotte introduced a “four-step materiality assessment” process. Reflecting global disclosure standards and stakeholder feedback, the company identified eight material issues. The eight material issues are: △ Managing the Impact of Climate Change △ Promoting Sustainable Travel △ Enhancing Employee Engagement △ Supporting Employee Growth △ Supporting Partner Growth △ Improving the Customer Experience △ Protecting Personal Information and Ensuring Data Security △ Strengthening Ethical Management.
To address these eight ESG issues, Here’s How has established four new strategic directions: “Responsible Operations,” “Employees Driving Innovation,” “Mutually Beneficial Business,” and “Sustainable Travel.” These four strategic directions were established based on Here’s How’s vision: “Ensuring that amazing experiences never end in life.”
Even prior to the publication of this report, Here’s Where had been building an ESG management system that meets global standards. The company officially joined the UN Global Compact (UNGC) in 2021. Since 2023, it has maintained a “Bronze” rating—placing it in the top 30%—in evaluations by the global ESG rating agency EcoVadis.
Kim Seung-mi, Head of Strategy at Here’s Where, stated, “With the publication of this Sustainability Report, we have established a sustainability management system aligned with our newly developed ESG strategy,” adding, “We will continue to position ourselves as a ‘sustainable travel company’ capable of realizing Here’s Where’s vision: ‘Ensuring that amazing experiences never end in life.’”
