Polaris Office, a company specializing in office software and AI solutions, announced on the 28th that it held a joint seminar with DataSecure, a data security specialist, at L Tower in Yangjae-dong, Seoul, under the theme “Data Security in the AI Era: Completed with DSPM.”
This seminar was organized to address the data management blind spots that companies face amid the widespread adoption of generative AI and to share strategies for establishing data governance optimized for the domestic environment. With the increasing use of generative AI, excessive data sharing and “shadow data”—data that exists outside of management systems—are emerging as new security risks. Consequently, the importance of establishing a Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) system to identify and manage such data in real time is growing.
At the event, Martin Cannard, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Netwrix, took the stage as a speaker and demonstrated the next-generation platform “Netwrix 1Secure DSPM.” He also introduced a data governance strategy that visualizes and centrally manages data assets distributed across on-premises and cloud environments through a single platform.
Polaris Office plans to leverage its MSP partnership with Netwrix to supply world-class data security technology to the domestic market and expand its business as an end-to-end security partner that supports the construction and operation of corporate AI infrastructure, going beyond the simple sale of solutions.
A Polaris Office representative stated, “Data that cannot be seen can never be protected, and the AI business innovation pursued by companies is achieved through complete data visibility,” adding, “Based on our MSP partnership with Netrix, we will resolve the security challenges faced by domestic companies and establish governance standards for the secure AI data security market.”
