Pulmuone Corporate will identify and operate programs to strengthen the competitiveness of its partner companies, while the central and local governments will provide administrative and financial support to stimulate employment and reduce welfare disparities. Through these efforts, the company aims to enhance the self-reliance and competitiveness of its partner companies and spread the benefits of this mutually beneficial cooperation to other industries within the region, thereby contributing to the resolution of the dual structure in the labor market.
Kim Jong-heon, Head of Pulmuone Corporate’s Planning Division, stated, “This agreement marks an important starting point for resolving structural disparities in the Chungbuk region’s food industry and creating a sustainable industrial ecosystem through shared growth with small and medium-sized enterprises,” adding, “We will support tangible improvements in working conditions and sustainable growth for the local community and small and medium-sized enterprises.”
Meanwhile, the mutual cooperation framework established through this agreement is drawing attention as a model that can be expanded beyond the local food industry to other industries and regions. Based on this framework, the parties to the agreement plan to contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of local industries and fostering sustainable growth.
