“Pregnant women in crisis” refers to pregnant women who find it difficult to cope with childbirth and child-rearing due to social or economic reasons. Since 2024, the Ministry of Health and Welfare has been supporting pregnant women in crisis through the “1308” counseling hotline and tailored support programs. To address gaps in the public safety net caused by pregnant women in crisis being unaware of these support programs, HANJIN Logistics Corporation has produced 3,000 rolls of packing tape featuring the counseling hotline number 1308 and is distributing them to all client companies and parcel delivery branches nationwide.

The tape will be delivered nationwide via HANJIN Logistics Corporation’s extensive delivery network. It will serve as a medium for conveying practical support information to pregnant women in crisis who are facing difficulties with childbirth and child-rearing.

HANJIN Logistics Corporation has also made a donation to the National Institute for the Rights of the Child. The donated funds will be used to support child-rearing expenses, medical costs, and housing expenses for children in need, including pregnant women in crisis. This initiative is part of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed by HANJIN Logistics Corporation last May with the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the National Institute for the Rights of the Child to support pregnant women in crisis. HANJIN Logistics Corporation will continue its ongoing collaboration to strengthen the public safety net this year as well.

A HANJIN Logistics Corporation official stated, “We hope that HANJIN Logistics Corporation’s nationwide logistics infrastructure will serve as a warm channel to help pregnant women in crisis and children who have fallen through the cracks,” adding, “We will continue to carry out various contribution activities to strengthen our society’s safety net and strive to practice sustainable management.”
