Binggrae announced on the 30th that, in accordance with a sponsorship agreement signed with the Navy Headquarters, it will once again deliver “Together Miniature” ice cream to the Navy Headquarters this year. The donated products will be regularly provided to crew members aboard naval vessels and service members stationed in remote island outposts.

Since signing a sponsorship agreement with the Navy Headquarters in 2024, Binggrae has been providing ice cream products, including “Together Miniature.” The company explained that it planned this sponsorship to improve the welfare and boost the morale of service members who have limited access to ice cream due to ship deployments or service in remote outposts.

A Binggrae official stated, “We are grateful for the dedication and hard work of Navy personnel carrying out their duties to defend the waters of the Republic of Korea,” adding, “We hope this donation will help service members find a moment of rest and rejuvenation.”

In addition to supporting Navy personnel, Binggrae continues to promote a culture of honoring national heroes through initiatives such as scholarship programs for descendants of national heroes and independence activists.

Last December, the Binggrae Public Welfare Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, awarded approximately 150 million won in scholarships to 100 descendants of independence activists. In partnership with the National Police Agency, the foundation has also operated a scholarship program for the descendants of national meritorious citizens, providing approximately 180 million won to 119 recipients over the past five years.

The foundation plans to provide a total of 750 million won in scholarships over the next five years and expand eligibility to include the children of uniformed personnel.

Binggrae has also conducted campaigns honoring independence activists. In 2023, it launched “The World’s Latest Graduation Ceremony,” which highlighted student independence activists, and in 2024, it unveiled “Wearing Liberation for the First Time,” featuring photographs of 87 independence activists restored using artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

Last year, to mark the 80th anniversary of Liberation, the company launched the “Liberation Heard for the First Time” campaign, which used AI to recreate the shouts of “Manse” from the time of Liberation, and donated related content to the Baekbeom Kim Gu Memorial Hall.
