On the afternoon of the 31st, at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards held at Paradise City in Incheon, Park Bo-kyung won the Best Supporting Actress award.
When Park Bo-kyung’s name was called as the winner of Best Supporting Actress, her husband, Jin Seon-kyu, who was sitting with her in the audience, was moved to tears.
Park Bo-kyung seemed dazed, saying, “I was sitting there trying to take in the moment, thinking this might be my first and last time here, but I didn’t expect to be called up on stage. I don’t know what to say.” Seeing this, Jin Seon-kyu shouted from the audience, “Snap out of it!” and Park Bo-kyung replied, “I’ll snap out of it,” which drew laughter from the crowd.
With tears in her eyes, Park Bo-kyung said, “When I watch award ceremonies, I find the acceptance speeches to be more genuine and heartfelt than any monologue, and I end up crying and laughing as I watch. I used to wonder if a day like that would ever come in my life, and I’d just shake my head, thinking, ‘I wish I could at least try out for an audition.’ But I’m so grateful that you’ve given me the chance to give an acceptance speech.”
Park Bo-kyung expressed her gratitude to the “Lady Dua” team—including Shin Hye-sun, her co-star—as well as her family.

The Blue Dragon Series Awards is Korea’s first awards ceremony dedicated to streaming series content. The nominees, announced earlier, were selected from dramas and variety shows released on domestic and international streaming platforms between June 1 of last year and May 31 of this year.
