[Edaily Reporter An Yu-ri ] NC (NCsoftCorporation(036570)) announced on the 6th that it will participate in “gamescom 2026,” the world’s largest gaming expo, taking place in Cologne, Germany starting on the 826th, to showcase its lineup of new global titles.
NC will showcase a total of three new global titles—△“AION 2,” △“CINDER CITY,” and △“Project Bonfire”—during “Opening Night Live” (ONL), the pre-show event for gamescom.
“AION 2” will launch globally starting with Early Access on September 30. The Founder’s Pack, which includes Early Access access, is currently on sale. NC plans to use this year’s gamescom to expand its engagement with global users and build anticipation ahead of the launch.
“Cinder City” is a highly anticipated global title currently in development as an open-world cinematic third-person shooter. A new trailer showcasing the background of the Cinder City universe is scheduled to be unveiled at ONL. Since launching its Steam page last July, Cinder City has been engaging with global users by sharing updates on the game’s development.
NC will unveil the new title—previously known by its development codename “Project Bonfire”—for the first time at ONL. Through a trailer, the company will announce the game’s official title and showcase its key concepts and features. Additional information about the game will be released sequentially thereafter. The ONL teaser video is available on NC’s official YouTube channel.
“Guild Wars 3,” currently in development as a PC and console title by NC’s North American studio ArenaNet, will be featured in the B2B Pavilion. Since its initial reveal at “Summer Game Fest 2026” last June, the game has continued to make appearances at global gaming events.
