In the video titled “Go So-young’s Ultra-Realistic 1-Night, 2-Day ‘Ajumma’ Chat with Friends She’s Known for 30 Years,” recently released on her YouTube channel, Go So-young went on a 1-night, 2-day trip to Samcheong-dong with her longtime friends. In the video, Go So-young wore casual attire and carried a black crossbody bag.

The video also featured a scene demonstrating the bag’s storage capacity. Go So-young took out various items from the bag and remarked, “It has such great storage capacity that my whole family is jealous of it.” The video also captured a moment when she realized, only after using an umbrella she’d received as a gift at a restaurant, that she had left her own umbrella inside the bag.

The product Ko So-young wore is the “Away Ultra-Lightweight Two-Way Crossbody Bag” from Daks Accessories. It is priced at 198,000 won. Weighing approximately 370 grams, it is practical thanks to a detachable pouch inside.

Sales of the product have surged since Ko So-young’s video was released. According to LF, sales of the product have increased more than fourfold compared to the previous week following its appearance in Ko So-young’s video. As the initial stock has sold out, pre-orders are currently being accepted on LF Mall. Pre-ordered items are scheduled to be shipped sequentially starting on the 21st.

A short video of Go So-young pulling a brown suitcase into her accommodation has also gone viral on social media. This suitcase is also a Daks accessory—the 25-inch “Objet Suitcase.” It is priced at 458,000 won.

This product is characterized by a design that minimizes branding on a brown background, with the brand logo subtly incorporated. Ko So-young emphasized, “The body is made of polycarbonate, so it’s durable even when the suitcase is tossed around as checked luggage during international travel.”

It also features double wheels from Hinomoto, a Japanese brand specializing in wheels. In the video, Ko So-young mentioned that the wheels roll smoothly as she pulled the suitcase herself. The product includes a wheel-locking function and an expandable zipper to increase storage space. Inside, there is a waterproof pocket for separately storing toiletries or wet clothes.

It was only relatively recently that Daks began actively introducing travel suitcases. After launching its first suitcases for the 2024 Fall/Winter (FW) season and seeing sales exceed 90%, the brand officially launched the “CARRY Line” in April of this year, expanding its product lineup.
