[Edaily Starin YUN GI BACK Reporter] Sophia, a member of the global girl group KATSEYE, will temporarily suspend her activities to focus on her recovery.

On the 8th, HYBE and Geffen Records announced via the fan platform Weverse, “Sophia will not be participating in scheduled promotional activities for the time being,” adding, “In accordance with medical advice, she plans to focus on getting sufficient rest and treatment to recover her mental health.”
Sophia also shared her feelings directly with fans via social media, saying, “I am learning that health comes first,” and added, “It breaks my heart that I won’t be able to participate in many activities with you, but I will focus on my recovery so I can return in better health.”
The decision on whether Sophia will resume activities will be made after her health is reevaluated this September.
With member Manon having previously suspended her activities for health reasons, Cat’s Eye will continue its activities as a four-member group—consisting of Daniela, Megan, Lara, and Yoonchae—for the time being.
